Synopsis

Thomas More is recognised as a saint by the Catholic Church. However, his life contrasts sharply with the image of piety one might expect: a life of priesthood or asceticism. On the contrary, he was someone who chose to live life to the fullest in the world, enriching himself with experiences on all levels: family, professional and political. All those who met him were impressed by this man. His greatest admirer, Erasmus, who was also his closest friend, said that he was the most modern man of his time.
